Fourth of July Parade Route Change from Cedar to Myrtle
Due to concerns for public safety, the official parade route for the Fourth of July Parade in Calistoga is being changed. The official parade route will start at Myrtle and Lincoln, proceed to east on Lincoln to Fair Way, north on Fair Way to the Fair Grounds. The parade route cannot begin on Cedar and Lincoln due to construction/demolition of the Lincoln Avenue Bridge. There is insufficient turning radius to accommodate parade floats and large groups of spectators.
To emphasize, the parade route will not proceed down Cedar Street.
Signs will be placed on the west side of Myrtle from Berry to Lincoln on Wednesday for “No Parking” on Tuesday July 4th, 8 AM to 1 PM. In addition, signs will be installed on both sides of Lincoln from Myrtle to Fairway for “No Parking” on Tuesday July 4th from 8 AM to 1 PM.
Any wayward traffic on Lincoln will be diverted south on Myrtle to Pine Street and back onto Foothill Boulevard.
The City of Calistoga and Napa County Fair Association wishes to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your understanding. If you have any questions please contact the City of Calistoga 707-942-2828. For questions related to the parade route or information related to parade floats, please contact Carlene Moore at 707-942-5111.
