The Planning Division provides information on land use, zoning and site development standards, and processes applications for land use permits and development projects.
The Planning Division also performs long-range planning activities related to the physical growth and development of the community, including: administration and updating of the City's General Plan; analysis of land use issues, policies, regulations and practices; preparation of environmental review documents, and administration of the City's Growth Management program.
The Planning Division provides staff to the Planning Commission and Active Transportation Advisory Committee (ATAC).
Draft General Plan Infrastructure Element
The draft update of the Infrastructure Element of the Calistoga General Plan is available for review. Paper copies are available at the Planning Department. The City Council will review the draft Element at a public hearing in February 2020.
