Below are a few resources where you can find activities, projects, ideas, recommendations to enhance both physical and mental well-being during this time. Outdoor Activities

Included in the Shelter in Place order is the specific mention that residents are allowed “To engage in outdoor activity, provided the individuals comply with Social Distancing Requirements . . . .  such as, by way of example and without limitation, walking, hiking, or running”. Here are a couple of great places to do that!

Our local city parks are still open including Pioneer, Heather Oaks, and Logvy Park. Please note that the playground equipment is unfortunately closed. There are still a lot of activities that can be done while maintaining the social distancing requirements.

Our beautiful Napa County Regional Parks are also still open! They have a ton of great walking/hiking trails across many of their parks. We are lucky to have one right here in our own town: Oat Hill Mine.

Don’t forget the Napa Vine Trail from lower Washington to Dunaweal, a great place to walk, run, or bike.

We really encourage you to get outside, enjoy the sunshine, and breathe in that clean Calistoga air. Please make sure to follow social distancing requirements.

Let’s Get Creative!

Although there are so many ideas for arts and crafts that are easy to do at home, I picked a couple that seemed easy to do with materials on hand!

Chalk your walk: Head outside and draw inspiring messages and art on your driveway or sidewalk for your community members to see!

Picklebums: Folded paper bracelets

I think this could be done with different colored paper or even markers instead of paint
