MEASURE B

Measure B is before the voters as the result of a referendum petition and requires a majority vote (i.e. 50 percent plus one) to pass. A referendum is the right of the citizens to approve or reject a legislative act. The legislative act that is the subject of this referendum is Council-adopted Ordinance No. 681. Ordinance No. 681 rezoned the approximately 22.5 acres of land located at 400 Silverado Road and the adjacent properties from Planned Development District to SIiver Rose Resort Planned Development District.

Ballot Measure to read as follows:

Shall Ordinance No. 681 approved by the City Council be adopted to establish certain planned development regulations for the property located on and near 400 Silverado Trail, Calistoga, which will allow the development of the Silver Rose resort and residential project?
