Babysitters Training
The City of Calistoga is teaming up with the Red Cross to offer a Babysitter Training Class. This class provides individuals ages 11-13 with the information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children.
Age Group: 11 - 13 years old
Date: Saturday November 6
Time: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Fencing
Beginning Fencing classes are now available in Calistoga! Instructor Jana Wick has ten years of experience in fencing and fencing instruction. She is currently teaching beginning and intermediate classes throughout the Napa Valley. Beginning and returning fencers are welcome. Students should wear comfortable clothing and thin soled sneakers or deck shoes. All standard protective gear is provided. This is a great class for parents and kids to take together.

Jujitsu
This is an introduction class and covers such things as rolling and falling and basic self-defense techniques.
Age Group: 7 years old and up
Date: Mondays and Wednesdays, on-going
Time: 4:00 - 6:00 pm

Students will be intorduced to tennis in a fun and exciting way. Basic strokes, basic rules, tennis drills, games and rewards will be part of this program. Raquets and tennis balls will be provided for all participants who need equipment.

Intermediate coed basketball camp. Fundamentals are stressed at this camp.

Putting, chipping, pitching, sand shots, full swing, course management, rules and etiquette are all covered. Students learn how to compete and have fun. All necessary equipment will be provided.

*NEW* Graphic Design for Youth/Teen
Students will have the opportunity to tap into the creative side of technology as they discover professional hardware and software as well as develop computer skills. Students will create their very own graphic art and edit photographs using the latest technology. Ultimately, this class will give kids the tools to create unique, personal projects while having fun.
Age Group: 10 to 18 year olds
Session I: Monday & Wednesday, 9/20-10/13
Session II: Monday & Wednesday, 10/18-11/10

Learn about your camera controls. Students will learn about basic camera buttons and options, camera menus, how to use the computer to download, edit, email, save photographs to CD or flash drive, and printing techniques. Students will need to bring their own camera to class.

Basic yoga, students will learn sun salutations, yoga poses, and meditation in a fun and supportive environment. At the class progresses more challenging poses will be introduced.

Classical contact Japanese form stemming from several Asian styles of martial arts, no experience is necessary, prior experience will be integrated.

Amigos Golf Club
The Amigos is a community youth group which focuses on community service, job skills and responsibility through weekly meetings, activities and the game of golf. Club also organizes fundraising, future activities and service projects
