Solage Expansion and Renovation Hearing Notice

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

BY THE CALISTOGA PLANNING COMMISSION

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Planning Commission of the City of Calistoga, California that a PUBLIC HEARING will be conducted on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at 5:30 p.m. in the Calistoga Community Center, 1307 Washington Street, at which time and place testimony will be considered on:

Solage Use Permit UP 2018-01, Design Review DR 2018-01

Consideration of use permit and design review applications to allow expansion and renovation of an existing resort and located on a 26-acre site within the City of Calistoga. The project includes the construction of 10 additional guest units, a 1,858 sf administration and meeting building, a 1,263 sf reception building, pool renovations, and 10 additional parking spaces. All construction will take place within the existing Solage site. The property is located at 755 Silverado Trail.  APN 011-050-045.

In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the City of Calistoga, Planning and Building Department has prepared an addendum to the previously certified EIR.  The Planning and Building Department has determined that the analysis contained in the Palisades Resort and Spa EIR adequately addresses the potential physical impacts associated with construction and operation of the proposed Solage Resort expansion and renovation.  

 

Beginning June 22, 2018, no later than 4:30 p.m., the Planning Commission report for this item will be available online at www.ci.calistoga.ca.us and at the Planning & Building Department office located at 1232 Washington Street.

NOTICE:  If you challenge the City’s decision on these matters in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing. Judicial review of any City administrative decision may be heard only if a petition is filed with the court not later than the 90th day following the date upon which the decision becomes final. Judicial review of environmental determinations may be subject to a shorter time period for litigation, in certain cases 30 days following the date of final decision.
